Michael got Baptized!

Hello family. How was your week? I hope it was a s good as mine. This week was awesome but ended kinda sad.
Tue- we taught rose who is LA and she gave us a referral so we are going to start teaching her friend Gloria. she was so cute and so excited to tell us about the missionary work that she is doing. it was awesome! We visited Deborah and when we were leaving we talked to her neighbor and gave him a BOM. he told us he is the biggest sinner in the world. i think he was kinda crazy. haha we had dinner with the trahans. i love them so much. they take such good care of us. then we taught Michelle and her family. we taught them i am a child of god and it was so cute! we had FHE and taught them about Heavenly father and how he loves them. it was fun. they said the reason why they left church was cause they were embarrassed cause all the kids were crying and they were so late. then we had a lesson with Michael and the Morris and Michael decided that he wanted brother Morris to baptize him. he called him the big dipper. it was pretty funny. so now we call bro Morris the big dipper. i am Pocahontas, sister Barton is skeeter.
wed- we met with Michael again and we were teaching him more commandments and he was all like how many commandments are there? and i said that it doesn't matter how many we have because they help bring us closer to Christ. and he said if i was any closer to Christ i would be in his belly. So he thinks he is doing a really good job and he said he is practically perfect. haha crazy guy. we helped sister Gibson clean her school bus. it was fun. but it was so hot i was soaking wet with sweat. The sulphur elders came too and we had a good ol time. we had dinner with a LA lady and she is in denial about being LA so its hard to work with her. but we did our best. then we just tried to contact more LA and former investigators.
thu- Michael had his baptism interview and he told elder limb that he is going to be the next prophet. haha so watch out. then we had a lesson with a lady that we met during HOP(hour of prayer) last week and that went pretty well. she agreed with everything we were teaching her. so we are going back Thursday to keep teaching. he name is Elizabeth so you can pray for her! then we had our HOP lesson with maw maw Jones. she said the sweetest prayer i have ever heard. i started crying. we had a really good HOP and we every door we knocked they said that we could come back. so it was really good. hopefully they will be interested when we start teaching. then we had Susan and the Morris's. they are so crazy. susan is really starting to fit in with them and she loves them a lot so church is easier for her. its good. that was our last new member lesson but she has so much fun she wants to come to Michael new member lessons. hahah
fri- district meeting was good. it was really long and then we went to a restaurant after and it took forever and i was really grumpy that day cause i didn't sleep. so it was bad. and it was so unbelievably hot i felt like i was melting. but then it started raining so it was a little better. we played in the rain. we looked for LA and former and then we met with Michelle and her family again and we committed the three oldest kids to baptism. so now Michelle, kisha, aleysia, and William are all getting baptized on the 22 of june. so exciting!
sat- was a crazy day. our tire was flat when we woke up, and we still had one lesson to teach michael before his baptism and noone would come with us. but then susan came to the rescue and she said she would go with us. so we went to her house and helped her clean then we went to michaels and we had a good lesson and she talked about her baptism. it was really good. then we went back and helped her clean and then they took us to lunch and we talked to Rod and Dallas about the church for awhile. we are still working on trying to teach them. Then we went home and got ready for the Baptism and we went to the church to practice our song that we were going to sind with the elders. but like always they were late. so we just talked to brother burnthorn and he toldus that elder limb was getting transfered for real. cause elder limb had texted us earlier and tole us he was getting transfered but we didnt believe him. but it was for real. then we were sad. but the baptism went really well. we sang nearer my god to thee with both sets of elders. and someone the elders were teaching got baptized too. right after michael came up out of the water he looked at bro morris for a second and then was all like "Good job big Dipper!" haha so that kinda ruined the spirit. but he was so happy. we had cake after and then the elders changed our tire. then we went and tried to meet with kizza but she wouldnt let us in. so we looked for ppl to contact.
sun- michael wore a bright pink shirt with blue and green stripes on it to church where he got confirmed. it was so funny. crazy guy. he said that once he was baptized his true identity was going to come out. so when the elders are bro burnthorn were taking him home after church he told them that his real name is abraham emanuel martinez and his real dad is the owner of walmart. hahah nut. but the mission pres said that as long as he is will ing to keep commitiments and wants to be baptized it doesnt matter if he is crazy. so after church i was in so much pain i couldnt stand up. my back has been killing me ever since the chiropractor. so i iced my back all day and just read the conference ensign. it was sad but i literally couldnt stand up.
Things are going well and besided elder limb getting transfered we are all good! we didnt think we liked him that much untill he was leaving. then we were really sad. he told us that we have changed the way that he looks at sisters cause we work so hard. so that is good. Miracles are happening every day and i am so happy to be a missionary! i am so blessed to be a part of this great work and there is nowhere else i would rather be! i love you all so much and hope you are all having a great week! i LOve you!
